Dow Gardens is a perfect place to get your steps in, enjoy beautiful scenery, and let the kids play. The 110-acre park is loaded with flowers and picturesque bridges and little streams. Admission is not only for Dow Gardens, but it includes Whiting Forest. Their website boasts that the canopy walk is the longest in the nation. It is 1400 feet long, and 40ft above the ground. My toddler loves to run through the canopy walk. It is stroller and toddler-friendly. There is a playground and a café so us adults can rest while the little ones continue to burn through their endless amounts of energy. Although I have been here multiple times, I don’t have any pictures that really show the this place. I apologize, and promise that when we go again this spring or summer, I will update with photos!

*HEADS UP* If you are going for just the canopy walk, please be prepared for a long walk. You are required to park at the Dow Gardens entrance and walk approximately .75 miles before reaching the canopy walk.
