The Delta College Planetarium is located in the heart of downtown Bay City. I went here a couple years ago (before kids) and it was a lot of fun. I may have to wait another year or two before bringing the little ones, but it is definitely something I plan to do. There are the standard cosmic themed shows, but there are also different shows that vary throughout the year. Their website has an updated listing.
