Dr. R. E. Mills Park is located in the unincorporated community of Boon. The entire community is ~530 acres and hosts a population of around 90 residents. I can honestly say that I met some very friendly people here. As I drove through their little community, I received lots of waves, nods, and smiles. People were out visiting with one another!
This playground has swings, monkey bars, a merry-go-round, seesaw, basketball court, and a small play structure. If you are driving through the area, it would be a good place to stop for a quick play time. You can sit under the nice pavilion with picnic tables and eat lunch!
