Sloan Museum of Discovery is a new (as of 2022) hands on science and history museum that features four permanent galleries: Discovery Hall, Early Childhood, Vehicles, and History. MMM has not visited this new addition to Flint YET, but it is definitely on the list! There is a café that offers food and beverages, a gift shop, and is also walking distance to several other places because it is located on the campus of Flint Cultural Center!

*UPDATE* We visited Sloan on in February. This place was so cool! There is so much for a toddler to do, I think you could probably spend endless hours here. The bathrooms were very clean and diaper-changing friendly. There was a quiet nursing room I was able to sneak off to with my baby while my husband stayed with our toddler. There is an area called Hagerman St that is designed for your littles. You are even able to park your stroller because there is a worker on site at the gate! We went right when they opened and stayed until nap time. My two year old had a blast! I updated the pictures… but they don’t do it justice. This play is a must go. We drove an hour to visit and it was well worth it!
