The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is truly a magical place. It sits on 158 acres and is handicap and stroller accessible. There is plenty to see indoors and outdoors. The highlight of this for us folks looking for places that our little ones can be stimulated is the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden. There is a giganitc Great Lakes-shaped water table where you can build a bridge, launch a boat, or like my 2yo loves to do… just splash like crazy. In addition to the water table, there is the Treehouse Village, Storytelling Garden, Rock Quary, Butterfly Maze, Kid-Sense Garden, and much more. That is just the kids area! There is definitely a lot to do and see that would make this trip worth while! Their website gives great descriptions of each area if you would like to learn more before planning your visit.
