Description
Great Wolf Lodge is a resort with an indoor water park located in Traverse City. Our MMM family has not yet been to this park, but it is on the list! Based off of friends with little ones and my own research, this park appears to be an amazing toddler-friendly place. Children under 2 are FREE. The cost of day and half day passes vary, so you will have to check out their website to get up-to-date and accurate pricing.
**BABY AND TYKE PARENTS** The water park has a specific area for the babies and tykes called the “Cub Paw Pool”. The “deep” end of this area is 18 inches.
This is a great place for everyone in the family with tons of attractions. https://www.greatwolf.com/traverse-city/waterpark-attractions/attractions
Since Great Wolf Lodge is a nationwide chain, it was difficult for me to find public photos specific to Traverse City. I will be sure to update with my own as soon as we visit!
***Update***
We went to GWL at the end of November of 2022. Our babies are 22 months and 3 months old. It was great! Our almost 2 year old had a blast. There was lots to do for her. I would say that the perfect age group for this place is probably 4-11. There was always something going on in the lobby for kids. Our toddler was a little too young to enjoy that part… but she loved the waterpark! We found a Groupon for $99 per night and it was great! We plan on going back next year!
We packed a floatie for our 3 month old and a puddle jumper for our toddler. Floaties are not allowed and they provide puddle jumpers and life jackets for your little ones. So, you don’t have to pack anything. There is also food right in the water park if you don’t feel like packing that either! We prepped with lots of snacks.

This is a great place to take toddlers! There is a pool section with three small waterslides made for kids younger than seven. The lazy river was really fun. My daughters loved floating in the river and getting splashed by the waterfalls.
