The Greater Midland Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides recreational activities for adults and children of all ages. Members enjoy certain perks but you do not have to be a member to go here! We are not members… and we signed up our 1-year old for a swim class. It was a super fun activity for her in the middle of winter. We looked forward to it every week!

There are tons of programs to choose from.

• “Preschool” (babies/toddlers from 6 months old through 5 years old) can sign up for swimming, gymnastics, play & development, mini sports sampler, and pee wee basketball.
• “Youth” (children ages 5 to 13 years old) programs include gymnastics, swimming, cheer & pom, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, track, cooking, art, and sewing.  
  

. Open / Drop in may be a good place to start if you are new to the community center. Open swim is available on Tuesday – Sunday. Check out their website for hours and pricing.
