When I lived in Port Huron, Lighthouse Beach wasn’t a popular beach… it was where you would go if you didn’t want to run into people and just have a nice, quiet, relaxing day soaking up rays of sun. I am not so sure that is the case anymore. This park has had some major upgrades since my teen years! There is a beautiful lighthouse themed playground for your little ones, and workout equipment for adults. It was busy with kids smiling and laughing when I took my almost two-year old this fall. (November 2022) My toddler loved it! We walked down to the beach which was beautiful, sandy, and made me miss living here. PHRec has done an amazing job making upgrades at all the parks in the area and Lighthouse is no exception!
