Birchwood Mall will always have a place in my heart. I grew up roaming the halls and even working in a couple of the stores. My husband and I packed up the kids and headed to Fort Gratiot to visit family. I wanted to check out the mall since it has been a long time… and because malls are a dying breed! Birchwood Mall did not disappoint! My little toddler who is almost two years old had a blast! The beautiful carousal that has been running since I was her age was her favorite. She didn’t want the ride to end! In addition to the carousal, there is a sports-themed play area for toddlers, two arcades (we let her try skee-ball for the first time), several coin-operated toys, a karaoke room, movie theatre, and the Blue Water Jump Zone (BWJZ has its own entry. Use the search for more information on it!) We were planning on going to the mall for 20 minutes, and over two hours later, our little one still wasn’t ready to leave.
